What this is

This site is a working prototype — an experimental proof of concept for an authentication idea called Cyber DNA / ID.me. It is built and maintained by one person (ZeroWic) in spare time alongside other work.

It is not a commercial product. It is not a service with guaranteed uptime. It is an idea being shared with the community to see if it holds up.

No warranty

This site is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. I do not guarantee that:

The site will be available at all times

The site is free of bugs or errors

All features work as described in all circumstances

Your data will be preserved indefinitely

I'm building this in my spare time and doing my best to make it work properly. If something breaks, let me know and I'll fix it as soon as I can.

Use at your own risk

This is an experimental system. While I've designed it with security as the core priority, it has not been formally audited by a third-party security firm. By creating an account, you acknowledge that:

Use the site for its intended purpose — testing and exploring the authentication concept

Not attempt to attack, exploit, or deliberately break the system (security researchers: please reach out first)

Not use the site for any illegal purpose

Not create accounts with the intent to disrupt the service for others

Your account

You are responsible for remembering your credentials — particularly your ID.me and seed phrase. By design, these cannot be recovered if lost. This is a feature, not a bug, but it means:

If you lose your ID.me, you cannot log in

If you lose your seed phrase, you cannot recover your account

I cannot help you regain access — the system is deliberately designed so that nobody (including me) can bypass the authentication

Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting me via zerowic.com/sayhello. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I (ZeroWic) am not liable for any damages arising from your use of this site, including but not limited to: data loss, inability to access your account, service interruptions, or any consequences of the experimental nature of this software.

Intellectual property

The concept, code, and design of this prototype are the work of ZeroWic. The idea itself is shared openly with the community — if you want to build on it, take it further, or discuss it, I'm open to that. Reach out.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the project evolves. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
